GTO-EVO "CF" chassis

Some cool new carbon fiber chassis from GTO-EVO soon. They will be available in various configurations including for rally applications and will be AWD, which is very chic these days in the slot car world!

The AWD chassis looks like it should be fast. I've contacted Angel to try and get further details about US release/distribution and price.

I noticed a few interesting things about the CF chassis:

1) Two belts are used, to equalize forces, and perhaps divide the load to avoid rubber band stretch and springback (energy storing and release).

2) One of the chassis has a gear drive front axle, with power carried by rubber bands to the rear axle; the other has a gear drive rear axle, with power tramsmitted by bands to the front. I wonder why?

3) There are tire tread-cleaning pads on one chassism, to clean the cocoa or dirt or snow off the tires. These are obviously rally chassis.

I get it! Thanks for the explanation.

One belt with full axles transmits less torque than two belts with full axles.

With half axles at the rear, you need a belt on each side.
