The Raceway, Cleveland TN begins NSR GT-3 Weekly Racing
The Raceway, Cleveland TN has begun weekly racing with 1/32 NSR "GT-3" racing cars.
The cars must be box stock with the "red" angle winder chassis pod except for the following:
- May remove magnets and add weight in the magnet pocket
- May use NSR flexible wings and mirrors
- Tires must not extend beyond the wheel openings front and rear
- May use any sponge rear tire no wider than .600" that uses a 3/32" axle and is large enough diameter to pass clearance in tech
- May use any "wood track" guide flag designed for the NSR cars
- The NSR Mosler is not legal for these races

Third Eye Technology is Under New Ownership
An undisclosed new owner has taken over Third Eye Technology Company. Third Eye had been one of the leading companies producing high-end Slot Car Controllers before the untimely death of founder Howard Smith.
It has been promised that sales of new units and service of existing units will resume as soon as possible.
We will report the news here when the new owners have been revealed.

WOMP Mafia Event, Cleveland TN
The WOMP Mafia, supported by RGEO, ProSlot, and Caveman Bodeez, is heading back to Cleveland TN on July 22, 2023.
If you missed the first one, don't miss this one. The GTP-D2 and Late model bodies will again be used. 8/29 gearing and protrack tires in both classes round out the general details. These cars are a blast to run and very driver friendly. Even I had competitive lap times after just 45 minutes of practice on an unfamiliar flat track.
A $60 store credit for best appearing is also up for grabs. Podium plaques, awards, and other prizes will be given away in typical Mafia fashion. Don't forget the personal "WOMP Mafia Godfather" T-shirt for the event winner. These shirts can only be won, not purchased.
There will also be two high-end custom bodies painted by the Caveman himself up for raffle. $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20. I believe tickets will also be sold before the event. I'm not sure if raffle tickets can be purchased out of state. Check with the folks at The Raceway Cleveland for more information.

Wicked Model Cars announces collaboration with Scaleauto
Wicked Model Cars, led by ISRA World Champion Nick de Wachter, have announced a collaboration with Scaleauto to develop a series of 1/32 Hypercar slot cars.
Planned versions will be the 2024 Porsche 963, Peugeot 9X8, and BMW M Hybrid.
Wicked brings years of experience in the design of bodies and chassis for 1/24 scale racing to the project. Scaleauto guarantees excellent design and magnificent performance with their RT4 series chassis and mechanicals.
The bodies will be based on the design of their 1/24th static kits but will be molded to 1/32 scale to fit the Scaleauto chassis.
More details will be revealed here when they are known.

BRM Announces Two Additions to their "Legend" Sports Line
Italian slot car manufacturer, BRM, expects to add the Penske-White Racing Sunoco Ferrari 512M (3rd) and the J.W. Automotive Engineering Team Gulf Porsche 917K (Winner) from the 1971 Daytona 24 Hours to their 1/24 "Legend" Sports Car Line.
They are planned to be available to North American dealers no later than the end of February 2023.
They both feature a new design chassis with an angle-winder layout.
Various tuning parts will be available for the new chassis.
