New Mossetti Patriot Avenger X Chassis Breaks Cover

Here's a simple photo comparison of the Patriot Avenger Chassis (MR3002) and the about to be released Avenger X (MR3102) these are 4" Flexi-class chassis.

The Avenger is the chassis on the left, while the Avenger X is the one pictured on the right. 

The center section is available separately as part number MR3112 and the one-piece pan assembly is part number MR3122.

These chassis are intended for flat track racing.

They are similar in weight: Avenger 44.4 Grams Avenger X 43.5 Grams.

New Tool from Ralph Thorne Racing

Ralph Thorne Racing introduces their new guide tongue bending tool. 

With modern chassis getting stronger and stronger, the older guide tongue benders just weren't cutting it anymore. We increased the size to allow more leverage and easier tweaking.

It's made from stainless steel, and all of the hardware is stainless steel also. It comes with everything you need to use it.

Just unscrew the thumbscrew, place one washer on the top and bottom of the guide flag and thread the thumbscrew back into the handle.

New Stock Car Body From Ralph Thorne Racing

The bar for original, creative race winning slot car bodies has now been raised once again...

Ralph Thorne Racing LLC. presents the newest member of our Titan family, The Titan XL. 

The first modern and original 4 1/2" 1/24 Stock Car body in quite awhile. 

The Titan XL is based off of our highly successful 4" body, and the newly approved Nascar Whelen series bodies in 1:1 racing. It features more pronounced fender flares that look great with the front wheels under it, a longer cowl for a more realistic look, and what we think is the lowest and most aerodynamic front end and green house area. 

You'll notice it has more of a traditional front bumper to allow for front wheel clearance and to accommodate most rule sets which require front bumpers. The body will measure just under 3.250" wide. Once again we've added a nice cut line to assist in body trimming and mounting. 

This body truly blends a modern and realistic race car appearance with superior race winning on-track performance.

Dave Geehring Memorial Races 6/8/2019

At the start of the Memorial race held June 8, 2019, in remembrance of Dave Geehring, we all had a moment of silence followed by a "21-Lap" salute by this race car on Dave's track.

The first race of the day was Pony Stock Hardbody with 34 entries.

The results were: 1st - JP Milcherska 157.09 Laps, 5.098 BLT, 2nd - Ron Hershman 172.03/5.265, 3rd - Rick Stagen 148.09/6.014.

The next race was RETRO Can-Am with 24 entries.

The results were: 1st - Ron Hershman 184.26 Laps, 4.740 BLT, 2nd - JP Milcherska 180.24/4.774, 3rd - John Miller 179.07/4.913.

The final race was 4 1/2 " Stock Car with 23 entries.

The results were: 1st - Ron Hershman 179.13 Laps, 5.098 BLT, 2nd - JP Milcherska 172.03/5.265, 3rd - Terry Watson 169.15/5.226.

It was announced that Thazer Raceway in South Bend, IN will host the 2019 Legends Memorial 3.

Mossetti Racing Submits Chassis for 2020 ISRA Production Class

The International Slot Racing Association (ISRA) requires that all Production Chassis be Die Blanked - Unlike the Laser Blanking process as all current Mossetti chassis are now produced. 

As per ISRA regulation this chassis has been submitted for ISRA and will be reviewed for 2020 approval at this year’s event in the UK

2019 Sunset 240 Enduro

The 2019 Sunset 240 Spring Enduro was held Saturday May 25th 2019 at Mid-America Raceway Naperville on the Chris Dadds' LTD formerly at DJ's Hot Slots.

There were two-driver teams running a spec version of the ISRA A-Production class race car with hand-out motors and handout tires (extras may be purchased). 

The team of Distefano / Mazur won the event with 2096.03 laps and a BLT of 4.915 on Blue

Second place was Gambo / Schatz with 2001.01 laps and a BLT of 5.055 on Blue

Rounding out the podium was the team of Gaspord / Crider turning 1957.20 laps and a BLT of 5.178 on Yellow.

Fastest lap of the event was posted by the team of Fowler / Clark at 4.367 on Orange.
