2017 24-Hour race results - Area 51, Storrs, CT
November 11th 2017 Area 51 Raceway hosted their annual 24 hours endurance race on their 5-lane 130 foot Ogilvie routed magnabraid track.
Team Can-Am started off strong and was leading the first few heats, but then Team Shoreline got it rolling and never looked back, easily getting the win.
For awhile, the other 3 teams had a close battle for 2nd, then Team Quebec suffered a crash that had them losing quite a bit of time for repairs, leaving Team Cloverleaf Gearz and Can-Am to fight it out. But then Can-Am had a motor wire come loose, and later on the rear axle shifted, which meant time in the pits. Cloverleaf Gearz drove a steady race to come home 2nd, with Can-Am 3rd and Quebec in 4th.
