Tecnitoys (SCX) sponsors Seat team for 2 more years

Tecnitoys Juguetes S.A and Seat Sport S.A. have reached an agreement whereby the SCX® brand will be sponsoring the SEAT SPORT team in the WORLD TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP ( WTCC ) for the next two years.

SCX® will be an official sponsor of the SEAT SPORT team, with its logo appearing on the side at the back of the five cars making up the team, as well as being the main sponsor of two of those five cars: those driven by Jordi Gené and Gabriele Tarquini.

This alliance means that SCX® will have a presence in 12 top-level international races, with an average of 50,000 spectators per race and extensive media coverage, reaching a TV audience of 200 million throughout the championship. All these races are shown live by EUROSPORT.

The result of this agreement was visible at the last race in the 2008 WTCC, held last weekend at the British circuit of Brands Hatch, where the SEAT SPORT driver Yvan Muller also gained a new podium position for his team, cementing the Spanish manufacturer's position as leader of the 2008 WTCC with 5 races to go in this year's championship.

TecniToys continues to be strongly committed to sponsorship in the world of motor racing, and this agreement is in addition to those already reached with the SCX® RACING TEAM in the SuperCopa SEAT León 2008 , with the 2008 Spanish road racing championship for motorcycles (the CEV) and individual sponsorship of Marc Márquez, the 125 cc rider in the World Motorcycling Championship.
