Fine Tuning My Scalextric Mercedes


Using BWA's lower rpm motor, I tuned this car to run with other brands of classics. I also took it from plain street version and added a few decals to make it look the part.

The MB 300SLR coupe (one was made) was actually used as an autobahn commuter for a Mercedes chief, so maybe some high speed dirt and rain spray, and a license plate, are the best decoration for this car. It should gobble up those Pink Kar split-window VW's in the slow lane!

Great idea and great job! I did the same with the BWA motors with my Revell Porsche 904 GTS and the Scalextric Ford Escort MKI - now the run with the Ninco Classic range, maybe a little bit slower but still competitive,
