New Super Tires-Dan O'Grady Series pix

Super Tires™ is proud to announce the Dan O’Grady Vintage Series of high-performance 1/32 slot car tires. The first tire in this new series is now in production. The most prominent feature of this series is a rounded outer sidewall – this is a feature many of our customers and distributor/dealers have requested. Dan O’Grady has been particularly persistent lobbying for the new design; therefore, it was only fitting to name the new Super Tires™ series in his honor. The first tire in the Dan O’Grady Vintage Series is designed specifically for Ninco™ Classic wheels (except the Cobra) and C.B. Design 15x7mm wheels (all styles). Part numbers are as follows:
· 1204R-C (“Classic” – silicone)
· 1204R-Y (“Yellow Dog” – urethane)

Dan O'Grady Vintage Series Super Tires Now Available

Instead of simply reworking the existing Super Tires™ mold design, the Dan O’Grady Vintage Series Super Tires™ feature a completely redesigned mold. While the most prominent feature of the new tire is the rounded sidewall, considerable time and effort was also spent on smaller details such as the transition from the rounded sidewall to the tire’s contact patch. The new mold design also yields an outer surface finish that is much “smoother” than any previous Super Tire. While the mold for this tire series is completely new, rest assured the time-proven “Classic” (silicone) and “Yellow Dog” compounds have not been tampered with. As a result, you can expect the same legendary performance Super Tires™ are famous for. For more information about Super Tires™ unparalleled real-world performance, please click here.

Available immediately in both “Classic” (silicone) and “Yellow Dog” (urethane) compounds, the 1204R tire can be purchased from the Slot Car Corner online store or any authorized Super Tires™ dealer or distributor. Look for more information in the near future about plans for this new series of Super Tires™.
